Office Manager (Hybrid) – Apex Property Management – Cedar Rapids
Help run the day-to-day operations of a growing local property management and investment company. Full-time, hybrid role for someone in Cedar Rapids with property management experience.
What You'll Do as Our Office Manager
You'll be the operational backbone of Apex - supporting our properties, residents, and vendors across a growing portfolio of rental properties in the Cedar Rapids area.
- Coordinate resident communications (calls, emails, portal messages)
- Handle lease paperwork, renewals, and basic compliance tasks
- Support maintenance coordination (work orders, vendor scheduling, follow-up)
- Maintain digital records, files, and property management software data
- Assist with rent collection tracking and basic reporting
- Help with resident onboarding and move-in/move-out processes
- Support owners with light admin projects and property-level tasks
Who Thrives in This Role
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in property management, leasing, or related real estate admin
- Strong comfort with tech (property management software, email, spreadsheets)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented and organized; can juggle multiple tasks

- Local to Cedar Rapids / Corridor (know the area, can be on-site when needed)
- Comfortable in a small, fast-moving team (not a big corporate office)

Hybrid: Our Properties + Work-From-Home
This role blends on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You'll spend a few days each week at our Cedar Rapids properties, with remaining time working from home. Occasional local errands are part of the role.
